  • Application Requirements

    I. Applicant Organization: (I). The proposing organization must be an implementing organization of the MOST's "Global Research & Industry Alliance."(II). Other organizations funded by the Ministry that meet the requirements of Point 2 of the Operational Guidelines Governing MOST Grants for Research Projects are invited to apply through their respective Global Research & Industry Alliance. II. Project Director Qualifications: Must meet the qualifications of project director and co-director as stated in the Point 3 of the Operational Guidelines Governing MOST Grants for Research Projects.

  • Targets of the grant

    1. The technical content planned to be used in entrepreneurship by the case must be the research and development results produced by projects funded by the Administration and belong to the implementing organization in accordance with the provisions of the Fundamental Science and Technology Act. 2. A preliminary review is required to investigate the intellectual and financial background of the case and to assess whether the technology is an original early-stage technology with significant commercialization potential. The review should be conducted by a panel of at least three reviewers, including at least one external reviewer, with initial review comments on each case provided upon submission. 3. If the Applicant has submitted (or is in the process of submitting) an application to the government for grants to establish a start-up company as a condition of closing, or for grants to commercialize a start-up technology, the Case Manager shall disclose the facts accordingly. 4. The project director of the case must have actually participated in the development or co-development of the relevant R&D results of the project and be one of the inventors of the core technologies of the project. 5. The case team should include both technical development and business development staff.
