Designing the Future of Clinical Trials in Cell and Gene Therapy

The SPARK-BIH National Gene and Cell Therapy Program proudly presents the 9th session of its expert-led webinar series, exploring how clinical trial design is evolving to address the unique challenges of cell and gene therapy (CGT) development. This session will discuss innovative frameworks, patient stratification, regulatory perspectives, and practical strategies shaping the next generation of CGT trials.

Prof. Fiona Thistlethwaite, Medical Oncology Consultant at The Christie NHS Foundation Trust, Co-Director of the NIHR Manchester Clinical Research Facility, and Director of the Innovate Manchester Advanced Therapy Centre Hub (iMATCH), will share her extensive experience in experimental cancer medicine and the responsible translation of novel immunotherapies into clinical practice.
