SPARK GLOBAL is pleased to invite our global community to an upcoming SPARK GLOBAL Webinar, taking place on Tuesday, January 13th at 8:00 AM Pacific Time. This session is suitable for participants across North American, European, and African time zones.
We are honored to host Dr. Donald Lo, Director of Medicines Development at the European Infrastructure for Translational Medicine (EATRIS) and Scientific Lead of REMEDi4ALL, an EU-funded research initiative dedicated to accelerating the repurposing of medicines across Europe.
In this webinar, Dr. Lo will introduce the vision, structure, and impact of REMEDi4ALL, highlighting how cross-sector collaboration and translational infrastructure can unlock new therapeutic uses for existing medicines and bring treatments to patients faster.

Dr. Lo previously led the Therapeutic Development Branch at the U.S. National Center for Advancing Translational Sciences (NCATS), where his work contributed to over 60 new and repurposed drugs entering clinical trials, with four FDA/EMA approvals to date. He spent 27 years at Duke University Medical Center, co-founded multiple biotechnology companies, and has long been a leader in translational medicine and public–private partnership development.
